A registered charitable society inaugurated by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam at DRDL, Hyderabad during the 3rd National Seminar on Aerospace and Related Mechanisms (ARMS) on 22nd June 1999.
To promote R & D activities on Aerospace and Related Mechanisms and to encourage wide spread dissemination of knowledge and skills gained through research and development among its members
Instituted on 18th November 2005 and inaugurated by Dr. P. S. Goel. Comprising 170 members from R & D Organisations (ISRO, HAL, ADE etc), Academic Institutions (IISc) and leading organisation in private sectors in and around Bangalore.
